ADULT EDUCATION
The Adult Education Centre at Te Aroha Noa is here to support the community with their learning. The Centre promotes adult community education (ACE) which sits alongside mainstream education and is accessible to all. The Centre promotes life long learning. This learning can happen in many ways all of which have their own value. There is joy in learning. Learning opportunities are set up in response to both individual and group needs. Adults are encouraged through learning to understand their world and to seek change within that world.
The Centre's goals are to:
- Encourage continued education and further study
- Break down barriers to learning
- Improve self confidence and self esteem
- Improve life choices and chances

So many people are learning in our Te Aroha Noa
community. The starts are at different places, the journey is along various paths, the destinations are vastly individual......but the journey will hopefully be supported, encouraged and nurtured by their association with us.
